Â
1. Scope of Agreement
These Terms and Conditions shall govern and apply to:
• All bookings confirmed in writing or by email to Award Training Limited by any individual or organisation.
• The provision of services, training materials, and bespoke training programmes by Award Training Limited.
• Any accepted quotations or invoices sent in correlation with requested provisions of work, which shall be sufficient to form the terms of this agreement.
Â
These terms shall take precedence over any terms and conditions contained or referred to in any documentation submitted by the Buyer, unless specifically excluded or varied in writing by a director or authorised representative of Award Training Limited.
Â
2. Booking Confirmation
A completed online booking form, accepted quotation, or signed paper copy booking form is required to confirm a reservation on any training programme, including bespoke provisions. Where bookings are made for an organisation and payment will be made via invoice, an official company purchase order must be attached or uploaded to enable an invoice to be raised.
3. Payment Terms
• A deposit of 50% to 100% of the total booking fee is required upon arrangement or booking. The exact deposit amount will be agreed upon between the customer and Award Training Limited.
• The balance must be paid in accordance with the terms specified on the invoice, typically before the commencement of the course, unless alternative terms are agreed in writing.
• Main Payment Method: Our primary method of payment is bank transfer. Customers must ensure remittance advice is sent to Award Training Limited once the transfer is made, where applicable.
• Failure to make the necessary payment within the agreed terms may result in cancellation of the booking, and any deposits or payments already made will be retained.
• For customers with existing accounts, standard payment terms will apply unless otherwise agreed.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
• Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation by the customer will incur the following fees, based on the time prior to the course commencement date:
• Cancellation exceeding 30 days: Full refund of deposit (either 50% or 100%, as paid).
• Cancellation between 30 – 7 days: 50% of the full fee retained. The deposit (50% or 100%) will be non-refundable.
• Cancellation less than 7 days: Full fee retained.
• Rescheduling Policy:
Rescheduling of any booking, including bespoke provisions, is allowed free of charge if requested more than 30 days before the course start date. Requests to reschedule made less than 30 days prior to the course start date will be subject to the same cancellation fees listed above. Only one rescheduling per booking is permitted.
5. Changes or Cancellations by Award Training Limited
Award Training Limited reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or re-arrange any training course for any reason. In such an event, we will provide as much notice as possible. If payment has been made, the customer will be entitled to a full refund or the option to reschedule the course at no additional cost.
6. Payment Methods
• Bank Transfer is the primary payment method. Customers must ensure that remittance advice is sent to Award Training Limited when payments are made, to ensure timely processing.
• We also accept most common credit and debit cards, as well as payment through PayPal and Stripe.
• Existing customers with a credit facility may submit a purchase order, and payment terms will apply as agreed.
7. Booking Amendments
If an error is made during the booking process, and it cannot be corrected using our online system, please contact us directly to rectify the issue.
8. Contract Formation
Receipt of a booking confirmation or an invoice signifies that we have accepted the booking request and that a binding contract between the customer and Award Training Limited has been formed. If any discrepancies arise, such as pricing or availability issues, we will contact you before the contract is finalised to ensure all terms are mutually acceptable.
9. Bespoke Training and Provisions
Bespoke training programmes are custom-designed to meet the specific needs of the customer. All terms, including deposits, rescheduling, and cancellation, apply equally to bespoke provisions. However, pricing and course structure may vary depending on the agreed-upon terms. These will be clearly outlined in the accepted quotation and associated invoice.
10. Refund Policy
Refunds are only applicable when cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the course start date, as per the terms outlined in section 4. If a cancellation occurs after this time frame, deposits and payments made will be non-refundable.
11. Limitation of Liability
Award Training Limited’s liability for any loss or damage arising from training services shall be limited to the cost of the training course itself. We will not be held liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the provision of our training services.
12. Force Majeure
Award Training Limited will not be liable for any failure to deliver services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, fire, flood, or any other event that renders performance impossible or impractical.
13. Customer Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all necessary details, including but not limited to, participant information, correct dates, and location specifics are accurately provided to Award Training Limited at the time of booking.
14. Changes to Terms and Conditions
These terms may be updated or amended at any time by Award Training Limited without prior notice. Customers should not assume that the same terms will apply to future bookings. Updated terms will be provided at the time of booking.
